Hi, your game looks really nice (you solved attribute clash in very original way) so I wanted to buy it, but I don't have paypal account (and I don't want one). Paypal is forcing me to choose new password for new account and it seems that there is no way to just simply pay by card. Bad luck for me I guess.

Hi, not sure if you're aware, but there's also someone selling tapes on eBay. They're also selling copies of a Matthew Smith type in listing as 'uber rare' - presumably as the seller made it himself. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196879303796?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0...

OMFG! Didn't know it at all!! I sold him one tape 3 weeks ago, he was one of the first ones in purchasing it. but he's selling 4 units??? The one in the ebay pic is the original of mine, I don't understand how he manufactured the other 3 tapes :(

And the price: £20, that's more than double my price...
And what can I do, if the game is a "copy" of Nintendo's original?

Thanks a lot for the notice, @binaryrooster

Yeah, it's pretty scummy considering he can see that you're selling tapes yourself. I imagine the other stuff he's selling is home made as well.

An excellent version for the ZX Spectrum. I included the game in my new "Gameplay of New ZX Spectrum Games from November 2024" video along with the other recently released ZX Spectrum games.

An amazing port! Congratulations!!

Awesome Game, Awesome Work, Love It, Played it on my Powkiddy X55 and my Trim Smart Pro.

Hi.  Paid for download to play on QAOP and my new spectrum.  I do not think a rar file works?  Do you have as a TAP or TZX? Excuse if I am phrasing wrong

Hi, Mickmog, the tap file is inside the rar file. RAR is only a standard format to compress the file. Please use WinRAR or whatever uncompressor you have to extract the tap file.

I am 55 years old and had a zx spectrum as a kid and i have been wanting for

a good version of Donkey Kong for 40 years

Fantastic game

If this game was released in 1982 it would of sold millions!

That's true, but 40 years ago we didn't have the tools and free time we have today. Then, you had 1 month to program and release a game, and most of times without the original game as a reference, and no tools like today... This Donkey Kong has taken for 3 years in developing.

Do you know if it runs in TK90x? (a Brazilian ZX Spectrum clone)? I am asking that because some games of original ZX Spectrum are not compatible with TK90x

Yes, it's compatible, you can read it in here:

Read the 1st post in that thread

thanks!

Looking great. Still I believe some people would like to try a demo version first.

Yes, I agree, Artonapilos is trying to make a playable demo, but meanwhile you can go to Youtube and watch lots of videos playing the game.

Bubu, can I buy this as a physical tape?

(+1)

Yes, the factory is at full capacity ;)  Go to the order form and please serve yourself. Thanx, @Eskimosound

But the order form just says you buy the .rar folder to download.

And I've just bought it but all I bought was the digital download and not a Cassette

Thank Katt, have bought the tape and am playing the game on a Spectrum emulator at the minute. Its incredible!!

How much are each tape?

Please go to the order form, you can see there all the info about it, such as prices, shipping methods, packs (tape + digital), and so on

Fantastic - saw this mentioned on Facebook and paid to download. Thank you for such a great version of the game and you've nailed the colour clash! Brilliant!

Thanx a lot for your support and your words, @andifield. This game has been developed by a companion, Artonapilos. I'm the producer and then offical distributor :)   but that's true, it's an incredible game.

Awesome work. Congratulations!

Thanks, but the hard work is thanx to Artonapilos, a new developer in the ZX Spectrum scene. I'm only the producer.   :)

Does the game save high scores?

(+1)

Sorry, nop. Developer told me that this game takes up all the 48KB RAM memory available, there's only 4 bytes remaining free.

Hi there,

Got it.
Man, this looks and feel awesome!

bought, you deserve it.

A great version of Donkey Kong! Haven't you thought about using AY's music in the game?

An excellent Donkey Kong worthy of our beloved Spectrum. Congratulations!
